Sam's Town KOA in Las Vegas
We recently left on a 3 week trip out of Las Vegas and spent the first day at the Sam's Town Koa RV park. Located on Boulder Highway, it just a few minutes from downtown Las Vegas should you want to go there.
Upon arriving, the check in is easy and lots of big rig RV parking right in front of the office. The staff is friendly and rates average but if you have a Sam's Town casino players card you may be able to use it for a discounted rate. We were casino players so used our points to get the night stay for free.
When busy the RV Park can fill up so call or check to see if they have spaces available. There are many pull thru spaces and other non-pull thru spaces available depending on your preference.
Set up was easy, all spaces have electric, water, sewer, and cable. Free Wi-Fi is only in the office area so if you want a connection it is about $8-$10 per day at your site.
The nice thing about this RV park is that you can walk to the casino resort and there you will find many restaurants, a bowling alley, movie theater, and several bars to entertain you.......oh, and of course lots of slot machines.
The pet area is good size and Lucy loved it, there are two actually, as well as a pool area and Jacuzzi.
There are a number of restrooms and showers located throughout the park.
Overall it is a safe and secure location but be aware that in the summer months the temperatures can reach over 110 degrees during the day.
